Knights Tent & Party Rental is a family-owned and operated company based in Pontiac, Michigan. We have been putting up tents across Southeast Michigan since 2010, and we still live by the golden rule — treat every customer the way we would want to be treated. One team handles your event from the first phone call through consultation, delivery, installation, and teardown, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.
We install year-round, rain or shine. Over the years our crews have anchored tents on lawns, parking lots, sand, slopes, and rooftop decks, in July heat and in March snow. That experience is the reason we can tell you early what will and will not work at your venue, rather than discovering it on install day.
Everything arrives from one place: the tent, the flooring, the tables and chairs, the linens, the lighting, and the heat or air conditioning to keep it comfortable. Renting it all from one company means one delivery window, one crew, one schedule, and one number to call if anything changes.

We are a full-service rental company, not a tent-only outfit. Whatever the tent needs underneath and around it, we carry it.
Tents
Eight styles from 10' x 10' backyard frames to 100' wide high tension fabric structures seating 1,440.
Tables & Chairs
Round, banquet, farm, cocktail and cafe tables; Chiavari, cross-back, folding and padded chairs.
Linens
Tablecloths, overlays, runners, napkins, and chair covers in a full range of colours and sizes.
Lighting
Chandeliers, LED tent lighting, bistro and string lights, and uplighting.
Flooring & Staging
Dance floors in six finishes, sub-flooring for uneven ground, and modular stages up to 16' x 32'.
Heating, Cooling & Power
Tent heaters, portable air conditioning, generators, and power distribution.
Where We Work
We deliver across Southeast Michigan from our yard in Pontiac, covering Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Washtenaw, Livingston and Genesee counties, and we regularly travel further for larger installations — into West Michigan and down to the Toledo, Ohio metro.
Engineered Structures — American Structure Tent
Some jobs call for more than an event tent: a clearspan structure that carries snow load, stands for months, or gets engineered and permit-stamped for a specific site. For those we work with our partner American Structure Tent, who specialise in engineered structures for commercial and industrial installations.
For you it stays a single conversation. We handle the event side — layout, flooring, furniture, climate control and power — while the structure itself comes from a team that does engineered installations year-round.

I rented a large 40x120 clear top tent and some other things through Knight's for a wedding this past weekend. I have been renting with them for over 8 years, but this was by far my biggest order. I can't say enough good things about them.
Brea was amazing to work with. The whole crew was very communicative in the set up of the order, delivery was efficient and the quality of all the chairs, tables, staging, pipe and drape was phenomenal. We will use them again in the future.
When no other tent company would help repair a critical quick maintenance procedure, Brea and her crew gladly, reasonably, efficiently and professionally did the job to keep our market running. This is the only tent company to use in the Detroit area!

Great experience with set up — our driver Andre was very helpful. We were not able to be home during drop off and he communicated with us effectively and sent us videos to make sure everything was perfect.
